We sincerely welcome that you participated in the 2023 OKFriends Youth Camp On-Line.
Greetings. I am Lee Ki-chul, the head of Overseas Koreans Agency. Welcome all of you to the 2023 OKFriends HomeComing Youth Camp. I hope that this Camp offers all participants an opportunity to better understand the culture and history of the home country, South Korea, and serves as a platform for active exchange among overseas Korean youth around the world. The various programs of the Camp will provide you with an opportunity to understand your mother tongue and culture of homeland without geographical or time constraints. I hope that you will learn a lot about your proud homeland and become ambassadors promoting Korea in your country of residence. South Korea is the seventh country in the world to join the so-called 30-50 club of economic powerhouses that have per capita income exceeding $30,000 and a population of over 50 million people. Among the 80 countries that became independent after World War II, Korea is the only country that has simultaneously achieved unparalleled economic growth and democracy at the European average level, which is unprecedented and has historical significance. In other words, "South Korea is the greatest country among the good nations." The Overseas Koreans Agency will support all of you to develop your capabilities in mainstream society in your country of residence. The 2023 OKFriends HomeComing Youth Camp will be the starting point for that journey. We will continue to be with you all the way.

Dear overseas Korean university students joining the 2023 OKFriends Youth Camp On-Line, nice to meet you.
Korean students from all over the world, nice to meet you In the summer of 2023 in Seoul, South Korea, the 2023 OKFriends Youth Camp On-Line where students experienced being a member of the Korean community under the identity of Korean will be held Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our meeting has stopped for the past two years. Of course, the aftermath of COVID-19 has not completely ended, but the camp will start again both online and offline this year. The camp, which will resume for the first time in three years, will be visited by global Korean students. It will be a meaningful time for them to experience and discuss our culture, history, and universal values of the world in six cities across the country, including Seoul and Busan. In addition, the 2023 OKFriends Youth Camp On-Line, which has greatly supplemented online content following last year, will also be held through an online web page. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation in this online/offline camp, which will be an opportunity for Korean youth to exchange anywhere, beyond time and space.
